Deep Phreatic Thermal Explorer DEPTHX
The Astrobiology Science and Technology for Exploring Planets (ASTEP) Program's DEPTHX (Deep Phreatic Thermal Explorer) project is profiled in the May 14 edition of the Washington Post .

DEPTHX begins its third and final field test during the week of May 14 at the Zacaton cenote (sinkhole) system in Mexico. NASA TV will be recording some of the DEPTHX project's field operations, NASA's Astrobiology Magazine (www.astrobio.net) will have a reporter at the field site, and NASA Ames Research Center astrobiologist Chris McKay will be on site with the project as well.
