Research interests are generally centered on the origin and evolutionary
history of volatile elements and compounds in the solar system, with
emphasis on the measurement and interpretation of isotopic signatures
in the noble gases and nitrogen. Areas of particular interest include
the isotopic history of the solar wind over the past 4.5 billion years,
the composition of the primordial solar nebula, trapped gases in the SNC
and other meteorites, and the evolutionary mechanisms responsible for
driving noble gases in the atmospheres of Venus, Earth, and Mars from
primordial distributions to their presently different compositional states.
