Dr. Wade serves as the project scientist for the Space Station Biological Research Project. He is the Principal Investigator on experiments as to the effect of altered gravity on neuroendocrine regulation of fluid and electrolyte homeostasis. Present experiments deal with axonal transport of neuropeptides by molecular motors via microtubules. Dr. Wade independently serves as a consultant to private industry in the area of acute care of trauma victims and for the design of clinical trials for FDA submission.
