For the past 20 years Lewis Feldman has been teaching and carrying out botanical research at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is a Professor in the Department of Plant Biology. His research falls broadly into two areas: development and organization of root meristems, and physiology and biochemistry of gravity signal transduction. His current graduate students work in the areas of flowering, regulation of leaf shape, and the developmental physiology of the peanut.
