Dr. Kronenberg received a D.Sc. in Cancer Biology from the Harvard School of Public Health. She is a staff scientist in the Department of Radiation Biology and DNA Repair at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University. She is a project leader and graduate advisor in the NASA NSCORT in Radiation Health, serves on the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements, and has participated in NIH and DOE study sections. Her principal research areas include programmed cell death and biological responses to charged particle exposures.
